Glenn Howerton Says That This Is the Best Thing An ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Fan Ever Asked Him to Sign
During a recent tasting event for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia fan surprised Howerton with a request for an autograph on the best piece of memorabilia that Howerton has ever been handed — or that Pepper Jack has unhanded from him.
Just like every other one of the many celebrity spirits-sellers in the booze business, the stars and co-producers of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia have found that fans of their work are the most likely customers for their whiskey. As such, when Four Walls Whiskey goes on tour to promote the bottles that they say are far superior to the average celebrity-branded alcohol offerings, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia die-hards all crowd into the four walls of whichever bar was lucky enough to host the Paddy’s Pub Gang during their day off from destructive schemes.

At a recent Four Walls Whiskey event at Dirty Bird’s Ocean Beach in San Diego, California, one Always Sunny fan blew Howerton’s mind and made him smile wider than the time he felt feelings as he scrawled his signature on a Fraggle Rock thermos, property of Pepper Jack.
As Always Sunny in Philadelphia fan and Instagram Ali Nikoopour explained in his post, getting a Fraggle Rock thermos to match the one that a ing pimp took off of Dennis at knife point during the Season Three episode “Mac Is a Serial Killer” wasn’t as simple as trading an even better ho to the third-person-speaking mack daddy. Nikoopour had to custom-make the thermos, covering up the original M&M-themed artwork with an appropriately Sunny wrap.
Not only did Howerton call Nikoopour’s creation the best piece of merch a fan has ever handed him, but he even took a selfie with the Fraggle Rock thermos. And, since we haven’t seen Howerton’s pic on any of his own social media s, we can only assume that he found the thermos so spectacular that he wanted to save its memory just for himself.
In the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 15 episode “The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 7,” Pepper Jack reveals that he still has, and regularly uses, Dennis’ stolen Fraggle Rock thermos, so if Nikoopour really wants to make his incredible merch authentic, he’ll have to reunite with Howerton for another video in 2039, when Always Sunny will presumably be going strong on Season 29.
